Now Booking Snow Plowing in Kootenai County
10/28/20261 min read
The sprinklers are put to bed for the year, and here in North Idaho that means one thing: snow is on the way. At EcoGreen, our crew switches gears every winter, and we're now booking snow plowing for residential driveways and commercial lots around Coeur d'Alene and Kootenai County.
Why get on the list now? When the first big storm rolls through, everybody calls at once. Folks who are already set up get taken care of first, and you're not stuck shoveling at 6 AM before work or waiting days for a plow to show up.
A few tips to get your property ready before the snow flies:
- Mark your edges. Put reflective stakes along your driveway, sidewalks, and any landscaping beds. Once there's a foot of snow down, it's hard to tell where the pavement ends and your lawn begins.
- Flag the hazards. Sprinkler heads near the driveway, low curbs, decorative rocks, and valve boxes can all get hit under the snow. Stake them so they stay safe.
- Clear the path. Move hoses, yard decor, and anything else that could get buried and run over.
- Think about where the snow goes. Let us know if there's a spot you'd rather the snow not get piled, like on top of shrubs or right against the garage.
- Businesses, plan for early mornings. Commercial lots need to be clear before customers and employees arrive. Setting that up ahead of time makes all the difference.
We're a local, veteran-owned crew, and we take care of our neighbors the same way in winter as we do all summer. Taking care of your irrigation and your snow with one crew means one less thing to worry about.
